Decided to leave Japan with my little boy for studying English for a year. Taking a map of the country, I closed my eyes and jabbed my finger at the page, landing on Nottingham. Took a full time English course in Beeston, Nottingham
From my mature student life in Beeston, struggling to get any authentic Japanese food and decided to stand a market stall in Beeston, Nottingham.
It’s 4 years since started to selling from a market stall in Beeston and pop-ups at the Crown Inn, made another big decision to open an authentic Japanese restaurant in Beeston, Nottingham.
Japanese kitchen SORA -Cafe & Izakaya Tapas-
is a Japanese home style family restaurant,
located on Chilwell road, Beeston in Nottingham.
Visit us for lunch or dinner to experience Japanese-style hospitality and atmosphere.
SORA 空 means SKY in Japanese.
Origin of the name of SORA is no matter the distance between us (Japan and England), we still share the same sky.
And of course we always fly the SKY to come and go between.
